Data Deletion Instructions

Option 1 — Disconnect one platform

Use this to stop ShoonyaAI accessing a single connected account (for example your Instagram account) while keeping the rest of your workspace.

1. Sign in to shoonyaai.com.
2. Ask the assistant to “disconnect my Instagram account” (or the platform you want removed).

When you disconnect, we immediately delete the stored access token, and we delete the data we retrieved from that platform within 30 days.

You can also revoke access from Meta directly

This works even if you cannot sign in to ShoonyaAI, and it takes effect immediately:

1. Go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools).
2. Find ShoonyaAI in the list.
3. Select Remove, and tick the option to delete the posts and activity if offered.

Revoking there invalidates our access token immediately. We then delete the associated stored data within 30 days.

Option 2 — Delete your entire account and all data

Email Puneet.Behl@shoonyaai.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”.

Include your workspace name so we can locate the right records.

We confirm receipt within 5 working days and complete deletion within 30 days. We will email you when it is done.

What gets deleted

• Access tokens for every connected platform
• Data retrieved from connected platforms, including Instagram and Facebook media, captions, and performance metrics
• Uploaded files and business documents
• Generated content — text, images, video, and audio
• Conversation history with the assistant
• Analytics, models, and measurement records derived from your data
• Your account profile and workspace

What we keep, and why

• Billing and tax records — retained for the period Indian tax and accounting law requires. These contain transaction records, not your content or platform data.
• Backups — deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before those backups rotate out. It is not restored to the live service.

Content you already published to Instagram, Facebook, or another platform stays on that platform. Deleting your ShoonyaAI data does not remove posts from your own social accounts — delete those in the platform’s own app.
